Ras el hanout is a mix of spices from south Mediterranean. It is not a spicy spice blend but has a pungent, warm flavor. The cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg add sweet accents. It is convenient to use in marinades, as a rub, seasoning in many dishes, and as a condiment - sprinkle on popcorn or sandwiches. Add to Spaghetti sauce, Vegetable dips, Soups, and Stews.
